This proposed 130-unit multi-family development is ideally situated in a mixed-use setting along the Route 128 corridor in Danvers. Currently zoned for commercial use, but vacant and blighted for years, this is the type of site that the Town of Danvers should be contemplating for residential – a synergistic use that will not only beautify the area but compliment surrounding businesses by providing a critical mass of area residents and minimizing additional impacts such as traffic. Three and four-story design alternatives have been explored, utilizing an architectural vernacular that is consistent with recent Design Guidelines implemented in the center of town.
