Finard Properties and Keypoint Partners
In the heart of northern Vermont, Form + Place has worked with Finard Properties and Keypoint Partners to redevelop a struggling regional mall. The design strategies rely on incorporating a dense mix of uses, including multifamily housing, hospitality, office, destination retail and entertainment. A full range of design concepts explore varying degrees of reuse of the existing mall, turning the enclosed shopping environment into an urban experience that connects to an emerging downtown. Placemaking goals focus on a new public realm with programmable public spaces and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, intended to be consistent with the Town’s new Form-Based Code.
