Experiential Place-Making
Place-making, when thoughtfully executed, can embody the essence of a community by finding a way to incorporate cultural, social and historical components. Great places often facilitate the full spectrum of social experiences from gathering to contemplation. There are many elements that go into designing a place that is vibrant, and ensure its longevity and authenticity. These can include celebrating influences from the natural environment, carefully siting and articulating the buildings that define its edges and providing for the programming of its use in a way that is both purposeful and organic.
